Alvin Gentry Has Second Interview With Cavaliers

Alvin GentryDan Gilbert and the Cleveland Cavaliers will have a second interview with Clippers assistant coach Alvin Gentry, according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports.

Gentry started his coaching career in 1994, where he led the Heat to a 15-21 record. His next head coaching job was with the Detroit Pistons, where he went 73-72 in three seasons. Afterwards,¬†Gentry¬†had three losing seasons with the Clippers from 2000-’03. His most recent head coaching gig was with the Phoenix Suns, where he led the Suns to a 54-28 record in 2009-’10.

Along with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Gentry has received interest from the Los Angeles Lakers.
