Blazers forward Thomas Robinson found a baby rattlesnake near his locker prior to the game two loss against the San Antonio Spurs. Mo Williams, who admitted he and his teammates were “scared as hell,” uploaded a photo of the rattlesnake on Instagram:
Coach Stotts, who did not see the snake himself, wasn’t too pleased with the situation.
“Well, it’s bizarre to have a venomous snake in your locker room,” Stotts said. “I don’t know if it’s ever happened before. That sounds like an ABA story.”
Whether the rattlesnake was intentionally placed in the visiting teams locker room or not is unknown. However, the Spurs do have a history of living creatures visiting the AT&T Center.
