The Cleveland Cavaliers plan to offer oft-injured center Greg Oden a two-year contract with a team option for a third year, the Akron Beacon Journal reported Friday.
Oden, a free agent, hasn’t played in the NBA since the 2009-10 season with the Portland Trail Blazers. Knee injuries have derailed the former No. 1 draft pick’s NBA career. The former Ohio State standout has undergone three microfracture surgeries.
