With D'antoni, the offense is gonna be CRAZYYY and the defense, will, I guess, be alright.... with Dwight

He's not going sit there and say "no I don't want this guy", before he's even gotten to the team.

You all forget he will hire a defensive coach.
That dont matter Mike Woodson was hire in NY for defense but that did not stop D'Antoni's team from NOT playing defense. Lakers willbe good enough to make the playoffs but D'Antoni is not a HC that can win when it counts, and I don think all the talent in the world will help him. You make D'Antoni Heah Coach of Team USA instead of coach K and he would not win gold probably, lol. Very poor choice by the Lakers and very well could cause Dwight Howard to go elsewhere at seasons end to go play for a real coach.

This was really a [expletive deleted] ass move by manegment. Phil thought he had a couple more days to decide but then manegment decided the job was D'Antoni's. whatever. At least our offense will be much than the offense under Brown and also that we didn't sign Dunleavley as a coach.
Phil Jackson asked for to much. The amount of money and the piece of the Los Angeles Lakers he wanted was to much for Buss. To be honest i would have spent every penny on Phil Jackson. Mike D'Antoni needs to sign Nate McMillan for the defensive side or else we are [expletive deleted] up big tiiiiiime.

The thing is though, negotiations didn't even go that far to the point where they were negotiating for ownership. That part was supposed to go down today. But instead they made the move to spend less money and hire D'Antoni as head coach. If they gave him an extra day, Phil's agent would've flew to LA and negotiated with the Buss family about ownership and all that.Phil Jackson asked for to much.
