The first guy that comes to my mind is Jrue Holiday, honestly.

Some nominees from my end:

Omer Asik went from 3 points, 5 rebounds per game to 11 points, 13 rebounds per game.

OJ Mayo went from 13 points off 40% shooting, and 36% from the three-point line, to 22 points, 49% shooting, and 59% from the three-point line.

James Harden went from 17 ppg, to 27 ppg.

JR Smith went from 13 ppg, 35% from the 3-point line, to 17 ppg, 64% from the three-point line.

Kenneth Faried went from 10 ppg and 8 rpg to 14 ppg and 12 rpg.

Kyle Lowry is also much more improved but has only played 4 games so far.

Definitely either OJ Mayo or Asik. I didn't think that either would be playing this well to start the year.

Guys who stand out to me are Jrue Holiday and Kenneth Faried, but James Harden is probably gonna win it.

IMO, this title should be go to a guy that not only improved but his place on the/a team became more important.

So, I think it's the Rockets guys, Harden #1 and Asik #2.
I may foget someone though.

E'Twaun Moore went from bench scrub who never played to a guy putting up 12+, 3+, 4+, granted it was change of scenery more than anything

Jamal Crawford.

He's leading the Clippers in scoring from the bench with crazy % numbers across the board.

Still too early but:

Deandre Jordan- his postgame and defense have improved and he has been hustling his ass off so far this season

JR smith: he improved alot ON the court and OFF the court and is way more mature now

Kemba Walker: his overall game has improved a a lot

I feel like guys like James Harden and OJ shouldn't win it because of the numbers. They already had the talent, but they came off the bench which prevented them to put up the numbers they have right now.

I might give it to Holiday, the other guys like OJ, harden Asik are juts playing in systems that benefit them better, not sure there have improved so greatly, but are now starting and they are being utilized more with there new teams, or in Harden's case he is the #1 option now.
