Sure, every once in a while he'll break out and have a big rebounding game but it seems like he consistently underperforms. I don't understand how he can when he was a beast at it in college, is so tall for a small-forward and has a long wingspan

Do you think he'll be able to correct it?

Unrealistic expectations you have for him. He isn't some center, or power forward.

No, hes a SF and hes leading his team in rebounds anyway what more do you want 7 assists too? Those long arms should be able to pass the ball.

It's not a case of having those big rebounding games once in a while, it's a case of having those small rebounding games once in a while IMO.

Look at the beginning of the season. He was consistently grabbing 10+. However lately, we've been seeing more of the 6's and 7's, even a 4.

Yeah he's tall, but he's a small forward. Serge Ibaka is down there grabbing rebounds and even Westbrook runs in to grab rebounds when he can, as he's one of the top rebounding guards in the NBA.

Kevin Durant leads the Thunder in rebounds per game.

Switch Durant at the 4 and I see him easily topping 10 boards a game.

He's a SF who grabs 8 boards per game. He also has Ibaka and Perkins on the same team who are good rebounders so grabbing 8 boards per game like he's doing right now is impressive af.

He's playing at the SF position most of the time... 8.7 rebounds per game is pretty good but it's true that with his height, he COULD get more rebounds per game. Put him at the PF position and I'm sure he would grab around 10 rebounds per game. I think he really improved his rebounding though. Hopefully he keeps it up all season long.

He plays with two other 6'10 players, Ibaka and Perkins. He's the leading rebounder at the 3 spot. He's averaging nearly 9 boards a game. Kendrick Perkins if anyone on the team should be getting more rebounds. He's only getting like five a game. Lmao.

Lebron is ahead with 8.9. Durant is second.

He's no Larry Bird on them boards but 8.7 is extremely good for a SF, no matter what.

He's having his best rebounding season of his career so far... I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here. He's pulling down 8.7 boards, you can't ask for much more from a wing player.

Battier is the Heats starting PF.

Lebron only plays the four for small stretches.

This is the only year of Durant's career where you can't criticise his rebounding, IMO.

This topic would have been on point 1 year ago, or 6 months ago, but he's done well on the glass to this point.
