Your team is down by 1, the other team has the ball at half court with 4.4 seconds left, your team has to foul. The team inbounds the ball, your teammate steals the ball, passes to you. Nothing between you and their basket besides air.

2 things happen

1) You look at clock, see 2.2 seconds left, pull up to shoot a jumper at the free throw line, air-ball.

2) You go for the dunk, and get rejected by the rim.

In both situations, time expires, you lose.

Which one would be more embarrassing for you? What about your favorite NBA player?

lol idk which is worse but I also don't think BG would get blocked by the rim although I can see him pulling up for a jumper and getting all air.

Thats why it would be so embarrassing lol, imagine Blake getting rejected by the rim? Him of all people? That would be so weird to see..probably impossible but that's why its a IF question haha.

Being rejected by the rim because I'm known for being probably the most inconsistent shooter ever. Although airballing a wide open shot from the free throw line would basically give me the reputation of a choker for the rest of my life.

Kenneth Faried would probably be the same because he's supposed to be a high flyer, and he gets rim stuffed to lose the game.

For me probly an airball is more embarrassing and for my favorite player Kobe he takes a bad shot sometimes and airballa so I geuss rejected by the rim lol

I would say getting rejected by the rim. You're somewhat showboating when you try to dunk to win it. If you miss the shot, people will understand. Sure an airball is bad, but they might cut you some slack. Getting rejected by the rim would only really make people mad at you. It's like ooping it to yourself off the backboard and not catching the oop on the fastbreak instead of just dunking it home, not that I'm saying I could either, but you know...
