The Lakers should fire D'Antoni

People have claimed D'Antoni is an "offensive genius". I don't see it. Great coaches build offenses FOR their team that FITS their play style. I don't see anyway D'Antoni has helped the Lakers. I honestly think we'd be better off with Bernie Bickerstaff, heck, I'd rather have Mike Brown.

2. If the Lakers fire him, they will be paying like a total of 8M to coaches that aren't even coaching their team... for 3 more years. lol
3. Mike Brown wouldn't have gotten you any more wins than D'Antoni has
4. Bickerstaff has said he does NOT want to be the head coach

1. D'Antoni's "offensive genius" will show when he has a REAL PG, not a 3rd stringer who wouldn't even play a minute on any other contender.

1. The Lakers aren't the Phoenix Suns of 5 years ago. This is an aged team that isn't built for this kind of offense. If he was truly an "offensive genius", he'd build an offense that fits this team.
2. When have the Lakers cared about money?
3. Mike Brown was judged only a few games into the season. Why can't we judge D'Antoni?
4. I'll hold out hope -.- He actually has the highest winning % of any Laker coach ever haha
I hate when people quote me and do this, but seriously man. D'Antoni has done NOTHING to help the Lakers. The Lakers are all about winning championships, so why would they hire D'Antoni over Phil. Just look at how many championships each has won.

No one's getting fired yet or probably anytime soon. Sure, the Lakers are off to a bad start, but this could actually be good for them. Mike D'Antoni preaches that a good defense is a better offense. Personally, I don't agree, but maybe he sold the Lakers front office on the idea. If they picked D'Antoni over, arguably, the greatest coach of all time, then they obviously think highly of the guy.
Actions speak louder than words. I don't care what he says, he needs to drill it in to the players. Watching the game, I see complete disregard for defense. There's no way the Lakers should be losing to the Rockets especially when the Rockets shot around 38% for the game!!! There's just no way that should happen. Either the players don't care or their coach is bad. I think Kobe would take care of the first option, so the second is the only logical option. They're about "championships", yet you completely embarrass Phil Jackson, probably the greatest coach ever, and don't even give him some time to make a decision? Everyone knows defense wins championships, so if the Lakers are about championships, why hire an offensively minded coach?

The fact that defense wins championships is exactly the reason that D'Antoni's never been able to win a championship, even though he had a great shot back in the run n gun days of his Phoenix Suns. The fact that they were able to get so many possessions put up big point totals, which won them games, obviously. The problem is that this Laker team doesn't really have "young legs" and I don't see buying into taking shots 3-8 seconds on the shotclock on a consistent basis. Wrong decision by the Lakers front office? Yes. Will he get fired? No, look what happened with Mike Brown; he stayed a while.Actions speak louder than words. The Lakers are almost a whole new team, building the chemistry is a lengthy process.
Besides, don't forget that the Lakers bench isn't exactly the best in the league. Don't just blame D'Antoni.
AND, wait for Nash to come back. He's old... but he's Nash. A guy who averaged double double last season.
Nash's ball handling is more effective than Kobe's because he usually makes better decisions. He's an all-time great at it.
Just wait. Lakers' potentials are still there.
