I feel that it makes the game boring sometimes, but I absolutely don't want it to be banned. Guys that are in the league mainly because they are huge and athletic and that don't really have skills (example DeAndre Jordan) would just get advantaged a lot and professionnals should make FTs so lets not bail them out with a rule.
What's your take, should aa rule be instaured to stop this hack-a-Shaq strategy?

If hack-a-Shaq wasn't allowed, Shaq would score 50 a game...
That's just a strategy used by opposing teams. Nothing wrong with that.
Rules like offensive 3 seconds and especially defensive 3 seconds are just... I don't know... they shouldn't even be there IMO. You play how you want to play.

If it works then I dont have a problem with it. NBA players have got to be making their free throws. I hardly ever even play basketball and I know i could shoot a better free throw percentage than a couple of nba players

Eh, it's legit. If a player can't take the time to learn a decent free throw mechanic than this is the price they should pay.

yea I agree like come on man your in the NBA you should know how to make a FREE throw or atleast take the initiative to get better at itEh, it's legit. If a player can't take the time to learn a decent free throw mechanic than this is the price they should pay.

It's legit. It's meant to explore weakness of big athletic C's who can't shot at the FT line to save their line.

I couldn't agree with the bolded part more, which is why I half expect it. I still think Stern is the worst Commish....yes worst than Bettman

yea he's horrendous, I literally rank him as the worst Commish of the 'major 4' sports....and that's a very tough title to get considering THEY ALL suck

It's fair, if a player has a glaring weakness, it's smart of the opponent to exploit it... and it might stall the offense too and get it stagnant

I agree with it for the most part. It does get boring and a little stupid at times, but overall it's strategy; and that's what wins games. So, I don't see anything wrong with it.

It's not the most entertaining strategy, but it is no doubt a valid one and no way should it be changed. You can't ban something that is within the rule book just because another team/player is unable to cope with it.
If people want the strategy to go away, then maybe they should start practicing their free throws!

Come on, man. Don't take a shot at Deandre .. He's shown a LOT of improvement. He's really trying to get better you can tell. He's changed his form on free throws to add legs and spin. He's added post moves. -.-
