13 Points, 12.8 Assists, 5.1 Rebounds, 2.0 Steals, 0.2 Blocks, 3.5 Turnovers, 51.4%FG, 25%3-point, 59.5%FT.
Chris Paul:
16.1 Points, 9.6 Assists, 3.5 Rebounds, 2.7 Steals, 0.0 Blocks, 2.3 Turnovers, 48.4%FG, 31.6%3-point, 89.2%FT.
Rondo is better by: 3.2 assists, 1.6 rebounds, 0.2 blocks, 3.0%FG.
Paul is better by: 3 points, 0.7 steals, 1.2 turnovers, 5.6%3-point, 29.7%FT.
Things to consider:
Rondo only attempts 1.4 3-pointers, and 2.5 free-throws a game. Weigh his FT and 3-point %'s accordingly.
Both players have similar defense, that it is a non factor.
Paul averages 4.4 free throws and 3 3-pointers. Weigh his FT and 3-point %'s accordingly.
Blocks hold very little weight.
Rondo fouls 2.8 times a game, and paul fouls 2.4 times a game. Holds very little weight.
Paul averages 33.7 minutes a game, and Rondo averages 37.3 minutes. Do not discredit a player simply due to playing more minutes. They deserve the credit for what they did, but you can give credit to one player for getting a certain stat in a smaller time.

Chris Paul is the better PG. He is a better leader, he has been clutch as [expletive deleted] this season (unlike rondo who choked badly just the other day) has a really good assist/turnover ratio, and has been a better defender.

+23.1 efficiency rating. #2 in assists and #1 in steals, He has the highest assist/turnover ratio in the league for PGs who get significant minutes, and can step up and hit FTs in the clutch when his team needs him

So you are judging a player so[expletive deleted]y off of how efficient they are, and how much steals they get...?Paul. He is the most efficient PG in the league

Rondo has the higher FG%, and shoots very little 3s and free-throws. How efficient they are is very close.
You should probably consider looking at the assist margin, rather than just saying "#2 in assists", and looking at all the other factors.

I'm not just looking at stats, there is simply no one in the league that can control the pace and flow of the game like Chris Paul can. Even if you say it's close, I believe (From the games I've watched) that Chris Paul is better on the defensive end in these 20 games. He is more efficient also.
Although it's 1A and 1B at this point.Very close

Paul shoots way more jumpers and 3's. and is a very good shooter. no duh his FG% is going to be lower tho. and its only 3% lower.
If steals dont matter, why are they even a stat? LOL

Chris paul averages 11.6 attempts to Rondo's 10.9 so you are wrong.
Rondo shoots a considerable amount of jumpers, and if you've watched him, then you won't even debate that.
Well, I'm going to go. Debate this for yourselves.

1st off, those are total FG attempts. Paul still shoots more jumpers and 3's. Rondo does shoot jumpers, but most of them are open. Paul shoots contested jumpers more and longer shots because he is a very very good shooter.
also, you did imply steals didnt mater when you said "you are seriously going to base how good he is off steals?"
also, consider that rondo plays almost 4 more mpg, so he is going to have an easier time getting his stats. I realize you cant criticize rondo for this, but just pointing it out again.

He can average 20 if his team needed.
Or he can average 17-10.

He's taking over offensively when needed, he's too clutch of a scorer and his FT shooting ability is a big plus in this comparison.
Plus, Paul kills Rondo in WS, WS/48 and TS%. And he has +5 at PER.
