If Bynum plays this season Bynum will > Horford. Cousins and Monroe too when they get on track (Cuz has been in very good form recently, Monroe not so much but I'm sure he will pick it up)

He is center by default in ATL. I just think based on what you need from a center (pts, rebs, blks, FG%, passing, low fouls), then yeah, he's in the talk.

But for now, he's in the convo. He does all the things a top center needs to do.

Yeah, everyone is pining for Josh Smith, but I want Horford. Good passer, has a mid range J. He's having a bad year form the stripe, but previously he's be hitting 70+%. But Mike D wants a stretch 4 because of his offensive scheme. SMH.Like said by Nick C, Al Horford is a PF playing the C position. I believe he would dominate on a team where he could play the PF. Let's say he replaced Pau with the Lakers. Damn...
But for now, he's in the convo. He does all the things a top center needs to do.
Sad part is that he's right. For his offense he needs a Ryan Anderson. Which NO is not giving up for Pau.

Teaming J-Smoove with Dwight would be pretty devastating defensively though. Two of the best shot blockers in the game, on the same team? I wouldn't mind having that. On top, Smith would be a killer in the pick-and-roll with Nash.
But I feel your love for Horford. He's so steady.

I think I'm just tired of guys players with mood swings (the Lakers have enough of them). Horford just goes to work. Smith is an athletic freak... but I hate his shot selection and even though he is a fine shot blocker (usually off of help defense)... I don't consider him a very good defender outside of that. He falls for fakes and always looks for the block which tends to lead to open spaces in the lane. Also not a great one on one defender and because he doesn't have PF size, he can get worked by bigger 4's with post moves.Teaming J-Smoove with Dwight would be pretty devastating defensively though.
