Of course the Heat are the Champs until someone takes that Larry O' "Golden Ball" away from them...

Last I heard, I think The Spurs have the best record-

The Knicks are for sure the "hottest" team and the ones that I think are catching everyones attention!!!!!

The Heat, Knicks, and Thunder are the best teams in the NBA, in that order

The Miami Heat honestly.

No team is even as good as last year's Miami. And the Heat got better this year (if all healthy of course).
And most importantly, they got the King.

The fact that he's almost the unanimous answer when the "best player in the world" stuff comes up really makes you realise that he's just great.

The Heat are a step ahead (at least) than any other team.

Thunder.

Best offense. Top 2 or 3 in FG defense...

Best margin of victory. Tougher conference.

I'll take them.

Its actually pretty hard to tell. Theres a few teams playing really well. Knicks Spurs and Thunder playing really well right now. Looks like Miami might have lost a step, and the Grizzlies and Clips have cooled off. But i'm gonna have to go with the Thunder because like i said they are playing better basketball than people realize. Riding an 8 game win streak into our game against the Hornets tonight which is probably gonna be a 9th straight win. Westbrook is playing at a level i've never seen him at before, Durant is playing very well and his all around game is still getting better.

Ill agree the Clippers cooled down but....how did the Grizzlies? Just because they didn't play as many games as San Antonio or OKC doesn't mean those teams are better because they have more wins.

When i say the Grizzlies cooled down i mean they aren't playing at the level they we're but it might have to do with Mike Conley being injured.

Heat. Once another team takes home the 'ship, I'll change my answer. The Heat won the championship last year and have a better team than they did last year and LeBron's gonna have a better season than he did last year, so the Heat.

I don't think Lebron is the type of player to win 2 championships in a row imo.

I don't get this reference... I never have. I see it all the time. Used in the wrong manner usually.

The Heat are the defending champs.

Cool.

So were the Mavericks the best team in the NBA last year? They lost to OKC 4-0 and struggled mightily during the season (36-30). So... no team was better than them? Yeah... defending champs... not best team.
