What if the Clippers didn't trade away Baron Davis and their first round pick (ended up being Kyrie Irving) to the Cavaliers for Mo Williams? Would CP3 have still been a Clipper? If not, which team would be be on? How would have a Irving and a Griffin duo have done?

I think he would have still been a Clipper, but the Clips would have been better in the long term with Kyrie Irving.

He probably would've still been a Clipper. Kyrie would've learned from CP3 and become GOAT.

Why would they (hornets) trade a veteran PG, and the best PG in the game for an unproven rookie?

Interesting thought, I reckon CP3 probably would have ended up a Laker. But who knows. He also may have gone to a smaller market team with assets as a 2 year rental, and he'd be coming into a more surefire FA period this summer.
