Lakers are on a five game winning steak and in every one of those games, he's scored over 30.

But 5 game isnt a great sample, Raptors are on a 5-games win streak since Lowry is out: therefore Kyle Lowry hurts the team?

No he should be #1 on the MVP ladder and Gasol has earned his spot as a top 3 PF. IMO MWP is 4th best SF behind LBJ Durant and Melo. Nash is easily a top 5, if not top 3 PG, and Howard is the best center in the league.

If Lakers lose more then 5 games for the rest of the season ill be shocked

They better not or else they will forever suck [expletive deleted].

I dont think Kobe's scoring was ever hurting the team. No one was stepping up so Kobe was forced to score.

Now that everyone is stepping up, Kobe's scoring is just a plus.

Never thought we'd get to a point where we referred to Kobe's scoring as "just a plus"

Well, here is how I look at it...

Kobe, early in the season, with Howard still adjusting, Nash being sidelined and Gasol having injury problems, shot the ball too much (averages 26.2 FGA on December). To a certain point, he had to. With Nash and Gasol out, Lakers lacked creativity and solid sidekicks to help Kobe with the scoring part.

Now that the Lakers are healthy and have all the players back, not only the team can afford Kobe shooting on high volume (at least I think so) but just because Nash is back, Kobe won't shoot that much. I mean, they played the Knicks and he shot it "just" 24 times. That's not bad.

***Five games winning streak doesn't necassarily mean something but I think they Lakers begin to roll as they have their stars back and their confidence back.

Yeah them going what 1-10 or 1-11 with him scoring 30ppg doesn't matter now that they've won a few with nash and gasol back.
