Do you think the kings are "STUPID" if they trade Demarcus Cousins?

Cousin's stock is pretty low , but his potential as a NBA player is big. I understand his attitude is a huge problem for any team, but we drafted him and now we have to work with him. Sacramento knew what they were getting themselves into when they drafted the problematic big man out of Kentucky during the 2010 NBA draft. Cousins should have been a top 2 pick that year, but 3 other teams passed him up because of his short tempered/stubborn/immature attitude.

It's bad enough my favorite current player "Tyreke Evans" is on trade rumors. Now DMC? I really wish Cousins would control himself. He's been suspended 3 times already in this early NBA season.

Maybe a visit with Dr. Phil is in order. Probably won't get equal value for a guy of his talents, and it's not necessarily his fault that the Kings are losing.

I think DMC is one of those types of players that if traded to the right system, will make his old team regret ever letting him go.

Before they consider trading him they should try giving him professional counsel to fix his attitude problems. Right now as you mentioned he has low stock, so the Kings wouldn't get equal value in return most likely. He is high risk/reward, but might as well try to get him help and fix his problems.

The Kings need to trade Tyreke, he doesn't fit with the new team like he did his rookie year, they can get good value in return and work from there. Kings have a lot of young talent so if things work out with Cousins they can work their way into being a playoff team.

That being said Cousins pisses me off.

Yes. He will one day be the #1 center in the NBA. If they trade him, they are stupid IMO.

Not stupid.

Cousins is a player a lot of teams would take a chance on. Problem is that you wouldn't receive much in return and like you stated his personal issues and his rookie lite contract make getting someone in return of same value difficult.

I'd try to strike a deal with Washington for a high draft pick and another player packaged with Cousins and another player. Whatever salaries match of course.

You get a high draft pick from your team and from Washington.

Cousins gets to team up with Wall in Washington.

Or something like that.

there not Stupid every team has had there fair share Of Locker Room Punks but you got to live with them If i was The Kings I would try to just keep Demarcus but If they really want to trade him and Tyreke they can do this unreleastic trade

Kings trade
Tyreke Evans
DeMarcus Cousins
J. Johnson

Raptors Trade
Kyle Lowry
Bargnani

Knicks Trade
Amare

Kings Get
Kyle Lowry
Barganani

Raptors Get
Amare
Tyreke Evans
Demarcus Cousins

Knicks Get
Landry Feilds
Amir Johnson
J. Johnson
Raptors 1st Round pick 2013

I did this trade In my NBA 2k13 30 Team Franchise. I thought it was fair but unrealistic. Kings get A good young point guard who is currently on the verge of getting traded. and they also get A good Center who is currently unhappy with his team
Kings Line up after trade
PG: Kyle Lowry
SG: Marcus Thorthon
SF: Fransisco Garcia
PF: Jason Thomson
C: Barg
. Raptors are defiantly winners of this trade getting A great PG who is Tyreke Evans who will go nicely with Derozan Or Terrence Ross. they can Have Ross Play the 2 And Derozan Play the 3. They also get Amare Who is a good player but has a horrible contract and Injury Problems. They also Get The Problem Child Demarcus cousins
Raptors Starting Line up
PG: Tyreke Evans
SG: Terrence Ross
SF: Demar Derozan
PF: Amare
C: DeMarcus Cousins

And Knicks Loose tons of cap and their starting Lineup stays the same

However this is just in 2k if this happend in real life i would be really suprise I cant see the Kings getting rid of Tyreke Or Getting rid of Cousins until at least the summer

That trade would only work in a video game. There is no way as a Knicks fan that I'm trading Amar'e to receive Landry Fields, Amir Johnson and James Johnson. Fields sucks and has a terrible contract, I still think Amar'e can be very productive. Trading Amar'e for all those guys would completely destroy our team chemistry.

I could see the kings trading "TYREKE" before the trade deadline next year around March or was it mid Feburary. He just doesn't seem happy with the contract issues during summer and the fact he's not the main option of the kings squad anymore. Plus his numbers have declined alot , since his rookie year.

I was pissed off the entire game because the Kings literally couldn't miss. Even though the Warriors were great on offense they couldn't get any stops. Also the refs made some retarded calls. Big Cuz did his fair share of flopping as well but the Kings got the better of us.

Warriors are a top 5 team in the west right now. Stephan Curry & David Lee are playing like all stars , so GS got the better team.

Both our main stars are out. One because of "Off court issues" (Cousins) & the other because of "knee soreness" ( reke). The fact that both of them can be traded before the deadline kind of sucks for us kings fans.

Lowry would be a good trade for reke, since he's a proven player at his position. I'm not so hot on Bargani. The kings are a horrible rebounding team. I think somebody like "Ed Davis" would benefit us more.

Even though the raptors are shopping for players to improve their roster. I don't think Tyreke is on Toronto top list because they have Demar Derozan and Terrance Ross. Both players play the same position as Tyreke. Which is the 2 guard position. Even though reke can play the point guard and small forward. I know he hated playing small forward last season.

They should also bring John calipari to Washington. It will be like Kentucky again. Hopefully this time Calipari doesn't flop as a NBA coach.

I'm split on this one. I can see him becoming a great player one day, and I can see him staying a douche his whole career.

I don't follow the Kings that much, but I think they need some veteran leadership on that team to put Cousins in his place. If he went to a team like the Spurs, I could see Pop and Duncan help him get past his issues.

Or they Kings could trade him to the Lakers for Pau, which would make for an interesting Lakers locker room.

It depends on the exchange actually.

But, IMO, Cousins will never be a leader even if he improve his attitude or something. He just doesn't have it. He's too hot-headed and immature IMO.
It wouldn't be a bad idea for the Kings to trade him. Like another user said above, he might make the Kings regret if he plays in a system that fits him but if he can't fit to the Kings system, they still made the right choice.
