Would you consider the Chris Paul/Blake Griffin being reminiscent to Gary Payton/Shawn Kemp?

Excellent comparisson!!!!!

When I first saw this, I thought "not on D"- but then I thought about how fierce CP3 can get and he is kinda like The Glove...
Plus Blake can get "flakey" just like Kemp could...

So in some ways, I would say "yes" :okay: :okay:

Yea, they are pretty similar duos I suppose, I would actually give the edge to CP3 and Blake, I think they are better. Its close though.

I'm not having that CP3 and Blake are better.

Payton may be the best defensive pg of all time, Clyde being the other candidate and Blake still has a long way to go to live up to Kemp, the original monster.

I like the comparison though.

I don't think CP3 and Payton are very similar at all... GP was a much better defender (CP3 is an elite defender, don't get me wrong, but I've never seen a perimeter defender on Payton's level) and more of a post-player than CP3... however I think Griffin and Kemp is a very good comparison, with Kemp being a better defender.

No. Other than alley- oops. Nope. Very different players.

I think the better comparison is Nash and Stoudemire.
