Then again.. when I watch Melo, he doesn't seem to ball hog as much as Kobe.

His assists average is for laughs and he just takes ill-advised shots (like his teammate JR Smith) all the time. He makes life tough for hiself and his team.
The idea of passing in his mind, is as often as the aclipse of the sun and he just doesn't play like a leader.
Easy answer.

He just likes to rub it off on everyone about how good he is, and that's why he also doesn't like to play defense, because he just wants to do the cool/flashy stuff.

IMO its Kobe Bryant...He averages more assists but he really doesnt share the ball if you know what I mean. Melo's teams is built around him being the main scorer and everyone else taking good shots. Kobe has Dwight and Nash, but yet he takes most of the shots, and takes way too many isolations instead of giving the ball up to Howard and Nash more

Actually, Kobe is slightly more efficient this season. But his shooting % has started to drop lately, so i wouldn't be surprised if Kobe ended the season shooting 46% afterall.

Uhm.. he takes the most shots because he is by far the best scorer on this team. Kobe is taking about 22 shots a game and that really isn't as bad as people are acting like, especially since he's making a career high 48% of those shots.

One play doesn't define a player! Look at the score also... maybe he wasn't trusting his teammates... and he knows he's a closer. It's a situation where you want Kobe to have the ball anyways.Kobe has never been a ball hog? Are you serious?

One play? Have you watched Kobe in his career? His teammates were wide open, its like common knowledge at this point Kobe ball hogs at times. One play doesn't define a player! Isn't a close game, not trusting your teammates, thinking you can do it no matter what, and taking the ball without any intention of passing it the definition of ballhog..?
