Eventhough, I admit it that the Lakers perimeter D is pretty bad with Nash and even Kobe not being able to defend shooters.

Not with a bench that sucks more ass than Hitomi Tanaka and has to rely on Kobe going beast mode every single night.

D'antoni = No defense
Lakers with D'Antoni = 0 championships

He's a great offensive coach, but his teams are always terrible defensively even if they have great defenders in the starting lineup.

Absolutely no any team he coaches probably wont even ever get to the finals let alone win it. D'Antoni as HC of Team USA probably would be luck to win Gold,lol. I dont even consider him a a great offensive coach. IMO a great offensive coach would recognize what he has to work with on the roster and make changes according to their strengths and he dont do that. The Lakers would have been better off keeping Mike Brown than hiring D'Antoni and I think Mike Brown is not a very good coach as his only success was with Lebron leading the way, its hard to not win a lot of games when you have him on your team.

If we wants a ring, I suggest him to become the assistant coach of a real coach.
Dude's teams just don't play defense. That's not just a cliche that everyone says right now, it's a fact.
