Well outside of Miami, the East is lacking any contenders until the Bulls get Rose back and New York figures their problems out

Hopefully the New York Knicks, we are the 2nd best team in East right now.

I hope Amar'e can continue to get better and Iman still has his defensive abilities, plus we really need Felton back.

I wouldn't even assume that they'll get that far if they don't fix their issues on the glass....but for the sake of the topic I see the NY Knicks facing off against the Heat. I actually have them in the Finals.

The Knicks are the obvious answer but i can see the Pacers making a push, once they get Granger back

After beating them in two games this season, I'd love to see the Knicks and the Heat in the ECF. Although, I think Miami will turn it up come that time.

As of right now, we can say that it'll be the Knicks.

Although, the Bulls, with Rose back, They have the same, if not more chances.
Needless to say, it pretty much depends on Rose's condition come playoff time.

I'm with CP. I got NY penciled in the Finals.

Heat or Pacers in the ECF versus NYC.

Go.

I think the Knicks or Pacers have the only legit shot at beating the Heat this year out of the east in a 7 game series. Even if the Bulls get Rose back I doubt he will be at peak performance. Knicks have the fire power to beat the Heat and the Pacers have the physical edge and defense to beat the Heat. I still think the Heat come out of the East this year when it is all said and done, although I hope not as the only team in the east I hate more than the Heat are the Bulls.

Personally, I think that the Knicks have the best chance. They have their superstar in Melo, a bunch of good three point shooters like Smith, Novak, Wallace, and Kidd, have some great/solid defenders in Iman Shumpert, Ronnie Brewer, Tyson Chandler and Jason Kidd, and have some good point guard play with Felton and Pigaroni. I don't see anyone else challenging the Knicks for an ECF spot to face Miami, unless Derrick Rose somehow goes back to playing like an MVP after his injury and everything clicks for Chicago. Even then, I'd still go with the Knicks even if a healthy Derrick Rose was playing.
