Greg Oden is currently taking classes and playing himself into shape on the campus of Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio.
Oden is hoping to pick up with an NBA team before the end of the current regular season, according to former Buckeyes' teammate Mike Conley.
Oden intends to try again in the offseason as well if he isn't ready in the spring.

Heat or Celtics could both be good destinations for him. They both need size. He's gonna sign with Miami I bet. He should sign with Memphis to play with Conley.

Good luck Greg.
Centers are rare. Like really rare. I hope he can finally get his career going, even if its not what many envisioned.

I picked him over KD
My Brother purchased me his Rookie Jersey, Draft Day hat and saved the front page of the newspaper in Portland- I saved them for my Basketball room...
I even stuck with my pick their rookie year- Greg was OUT FOR THE WHOLE SEASON. But I really thought KD was gonna be a bust!!!!!
Then this awesome- Basketball loving- humble guy just has had injury after injury...
Call it the Blazer Curse or because of his size...
Maybe bad things happen to good people sometimes...
I am just not convinced...
*****I hope that I am totally wrong!!

Whoa. For a minute I thought I traveled back in time and was reading an old post.
Good luck Greg.

I would like to see the kid be able to have a career even if it is not what many envisioned. I know he would like to play for his hometown Pacers but we really have no room for him, so I would like to see him get to go play for Memphis with Mike Conley again.
I would walk thru hell in a gasoline suit to play the game of baseball- Pete Rose

From what I heard the people of Portland and his coach and team mates were nothing but supportive, personally I'd only be interested in going back to prove myself to them.

Come to the Warriors! Injured or not Oden is better than Biedrins.
him and bogut could form the best big men duo, who are sitting on the bench in costumes

What if....the Miami Heat sign him and he stays healthy.
A healthy Greg Oden on the Miami Heat would make Lebron look like a prophet.
"Not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7..."
Ok, maybe no more than 4.
