USA Today reported Friday night the Clippers are an outside team that actually has some interest in a deal. Now, this makes a lot of sense.
The Clippers are looking to win now. Right now. And they are willing to pay to get there. They have the exact pieces that the Grizzlies would likely want in return. They could package backup point guard Eric Bledsoe with one of two wings, Caron Butler or Willie Green, along with another young player or picks. It fills the need for Memphis and getsChris Paul another devastating option to run the floor with.
But would the Clippers mess with their chemistry, which has made them one of the best teams in the West? That seems unlikely.

This isn't happening. They won't trade gay mid-season. They'll realize it'll ruin any of the small chance they have at a title this season and a trade won't benefit the team in any way other then gaining financial flexibility.

If the Clippers gave up CP3 for anything less than a LeBron-Durant package, they would be seriously out of their minds.
Btw, Gay would make this the best team in the league by a decent amount IMO.

Very interesting to hear and something to think about; I like the possible trade pieces. Lob City would be crazy with Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan. I'd probably see Eric Bledsoe going since the Grizzles need a great shooter & finisher. Can't wait to see what players are offered if this rumor is confirmed and discussed out.

In case you haven't seen Bledsoe play, he is ready to assume a bigger role and with the Clippers backcourt its a lot less likely to happen than in Memphis, and Rudy Gay isn't exactly the superstar some people think he is. Caron Butler is a good replacement and would fit in well in Memphis with Randolph and Gasol.Bledsoe for Rudy? LOLNO.
