If every NBA player that is playing today was in his prime (& healthy), which team would win the championship (& why)? How will that change the starting lineup & depth of your favorite team?

For the Knicks...

PG: Jason Kidd
SG: Iman Shumpert
SF: Carmelo Anthony
PF: Amar'e Stoudemire
C: Tyson Chandler (Camby off bench for depth)

6. J.R. Smith
7. Rasheed Wallace
8. Marcus Camby
9. Raymond Felton
10. Ronnie Brewer
11. Pablo Prigioni
12. Steve Novak

I'll go with my Knicks for several reasons. Kidd is a better defender & rebounder than Nash, Nash is the better shooter, and the passing is neck & neck. Shumpert is a great option to slow-down (not shut-down) Kobe & Wade. Nobody will stop Carmelo from scoring besides LeBron or Artest (who will slow him down the most). Amar'e would get the edge in a matchup with Gasol. Tyson's defense at it's best has once shut-down a prime Duncan. But our biggest strength is our bench. We have: J.R. (an explosive scorer), Camby (great defender, rebounder, & shot blocker), and Sheed (great post-player, 3-point shooter, & one of the greatest enforcers of All-Time).

The Lakers easily. I hate that but a prime MVP Kobe, MVP Nash, All Star Gasol, DPOY/Allstar Dwight, All Star Metta, All Star Jamison would kill everybody and easily win the title.

Knicks would be the best team if everyone was in their prime. Then the Heat.

Of course, the Lakers with the roster they've got right now.

SF - LeBron James-Shane Battier
PF - Udonis Haslem- Rashard Lewis
C - Chris Bosh-Joel Anthony

Heat would be GOAT. Haslem, Allen, Lewis, Miller, Wade in their primes.

Yeah right, we'd destroy you.

Knicks Lakers all the way.

Kidd
Brewer
Melo
THE STAT
Camby (sorry Tyson but Camby was beastly)

Sheed, Chandler, Thomas, not to mention SA Novak. Plus what we've already got.

So you get a prime wade against us, so what, depth wise we'd bury you.

Well since the Kings are young, let's imagine Isaiah is the second coming of Stockton, Tyreke breaks out and averages 25/7/7, Thornton becomes a 30 PPG player, Cousins becomes Shaq with a jumper, T-Rob evolves in to a 20/10 guy, as does Thompson, and Keith Smart becomes the next Phil Jackson.

Definitely the Kings

Either the Knicks, Heat or Lakers. I think Lakers and Knicks would have the best rosters but Heat would win because it would be easier to gel as a team for them. Too many ball hogs on Knicks and Lakers can't even gel right now.

Dirk nowitzki
Elton brand
Chris kaman
Mike James
Vince carter
Shawn Marion
Dallas would be scary as [expletive deleted] in the paint when dirk and kaman got tired here comes brand and Marion. Plus you get serviceable mike James and the highflying Vince carter. Plus add mayo and collision and dallas would be undisputed.

Billups (once a Finals MVP) should start. Crawford would be better suited for the 6th Man role.

Collison (.....)
Carter (Allstar best dunker of all time 2001)
Marion (Allstar 2003)
Dirk (MVP 2007)
Kaman (Allstar 2010)

Mayo (2012-13 breakout year) and Elton Brand (allstar 2006) off the bench

Probably not better than the Knicks or Lakers but pretty good

Prime Heat players would have too much athleticism. James and Wade get penetration and guys get easier shots. And also it's about chemistry.
It can be done..
