We expected so much out of this guy! Why was he MVP over LeBron again? This is a SERIOUS question!! Now I think the Bulls need to trade him for pieces or get another superstar to pair with him because he is DONE as a superstar in the league and breaking ppl legs with crossovers.

lmao bust is when u fail to live up to expectations and suck complete ass on the court

Derrick Rose has never been that

going by that logic then T-Mac is a bust too

D-Rose was great on the court, injuries are just devestating his career and it's a shame.

What? That would imply that, to be a superstar you have to have "ankle-breaking crossovers" and amazing athleticism. That is not true by any count; all Derrick has to do is reform his game: get bigger, get a better jumpshot, and become a better passer.

Also I don't know why people call injury ridden players busts, it's not like they had any control over it, lacked the hard work, or anything else of that nature. Greg Oden, Penny, Grant Hill, Derrick Rose, etc. none of those players will go down as busts in my book.

You don't even know what the future has in store for Derrick, he could come back with a whole new game and lead the CHI to a ring.

Instead of being a Top 10 PG all-time like a lot expected, he would be lucky if he has a decent career and he was 1st pick

And the Heat would, oops nvm Chalmers is more productive

Lol wut? The guy is still 25!

He is probably going to return next season and still be one of the best in his position. Ok, the injuries are not going to help him into being one of the top 10 PGs ever,as you said, but he is going to have a decent career if he is a little lucky (unlike Roy) and not have another season ending injury. T-Mac's career was decent despite the injuries, I could see Rose being a T-Mac v2 or even a better Grant Hill (and I really think that's a worse case scenario). Not what we all Bulls' fans (and basketball fans in general) expected from him, but that's still far from a bust.

And we always have to see if he really changes his game. Rose can shoot and pass even better each and every year,he was showing it more and more on the last games,as he was getting the rust of.

This is the smartest post (besides mines) on here

Do you agree though his stardom and ability to lead a team to a championship with this same roster is done deer?

Its like a handful of urban youth types who pick Rose over Lebron. Most people , even Asians pick Lebron over him.

Better Grant Hill is an insane comment...
