According to John Ireland on 710 ESPN radio, Dwight Howard will be ready to play against the Boston Celtics.
“We don’t have time for (Howard’s shoulder) to heal,” said teammate Kobe Bryant. “We need some urgency.”
Dwight has sat out the last three games with a torn labrum in his right shoulder. With Jordan Hill and Pau Gasol both out for the 10th-seed Lakers, Dwight Howard has no choice but to step in and help his squad get some wins.
Pau Gasol, on the other hand, will miss at least six weeks due to a partial tear of his plantar fascia.
