Chicago, IL - Coach Thibodeau revealed Friday that the groin strain which has kept Joakim Noah out of all but one game this preseason is once again acting up. The All-Star center is shut down for at least another week. Chicago never has it easy when it comes to the injury bug.
“We’re going to shut Jo down,” Thibodeau said after Friday’s shootaround. “He’s got a little soreness, so we want to make sure we get that taken care of. Probably another week or so, but we just want to make sure he’s completely healthy before we move forward.”
Noah was out with plantar fasciitis last year during the Nets playoff series. Noah is the defensive anchor of the Chicago Bulls. Even with Rose back, the Bulls will definitely have issues heading into the season if their center can not make it back in time.
