John Wall and the Wizards Spoil Bryant and Gasol’s Debut
As the Lakers got two of their long time Lakers back tonight, their debuts were spoiled by John Wall and the Washington Wizard squad. Killing the Wizards throughout the whole game, the Wizards were able to go on a big run in the third to bring the game back to a neck and neck score. This game went straight down to the wire between these two teams. John Wall came up clutch to push the Wizards over the Lakers. Lakers are now 36-34, while the Wizards are 25-43.
John Wall come up big when the game on the line. He was able to hit all of his three throws in the closing seconds of the game. Throughout the game, Wall shot 6-8 from the free throw line. Not only this, John Wall also shot 9-19 from the field, scoring 10 points and setting a new career high in assists with 15. This was the perfect game to show what Wall is really made of since the Wizards didn’t have Beal, Price, or Okafor.
This was a well played game by the Wizards, as they took the win against the Los Angeles Lakers, at the the Staples Center.
