According to Alex Kennedy from HOOPSWORLD, the New York Knicks and Orlando Magic are discussing a potential trade involving Iman Shumpert and J.J. Redick. A third team would most likely have to be involved in order to make a trade possible.
J.J. Redick has been involved in plenty of trade rumors as of late, due to his breakout season. He has been averaging over 15 points, 4 assists and 2 rebounds per game for the Orlando Magic.
The Knicks have also been involved in a few trade rumors, despite Carmelo Anthony’s comments about keeping their current roster together. Shumpert has been averaging 5 points and 3 rebounds per game for the Knicks. His play is expected to pick up over time, since he is still recovering from injury.
