Mo Williams Has Severely Sprained Thumb, Out Indefinitely

Mo WilliamsMo Williams is out indefinitely and will miss Wednesday’s game against the Golden State Warriors because of a “severely sprained” right thumb.

Williams, who will miss his sixth game of the season, is averaging 12.9 points and 6.7 assists this season.

Jamaal Tinsley will start for the Utah Jazz in Williams’ place.

“When you get an opportunity to play more minutes,” Tinsley said, “you have to take advantage of it and hold it down until [Williams] comes back.”
