Paul George and the Indiana Pacers are completing a 5-year deal worth over $90 million.
George’s impressive performance during the 2012/13 season and NBA playoffs is what earned him the maximum deal. In only his third season in the NBA, George averaged 17.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game.
George, only 23-years-old, was selected by the Pacers as the No. 10 overall draft pick in the 2010 NBA draft. With Pacers other star, Danny Granger, finally ready to return to the floor, the Pacers are expected to be as dangerous as ever before.
At 6’11″, the extremely athletic shooting guard has constantly had his athleticism skills compared to Tracy McGrady. His solid work ethic assures the Indiana Pacers franchise that he is definitely worth a max deal, since he will keep on working hard and developing his game.
