Rasheed Wallace Retires
Rasheed Wallace has retired from the NBA due to injury issues.
“Rasheed has given this team everything he had,” Mike Woodson said in a statement. “He is a winner, true professional and leader on and off the court. Due to his injury, he will not be available to play for us during the playoffs.”
In the 21 games ‘Sheed played this season, he averaged 4 points and 4 rebounds, and helped spark the Knicks defensively.
