The Houston Rockets and Chris Bosh are discussing a four-year contract worth over $80 million, according to Chris Broussard of ESPN.
The report also claims that Bosh, who spoke with LeBron James over the weekend, is considering signing with the Rockets. Houston would need to trade Jeremy Lin in order to free up enough cap space for Bosh.
Bosh, 30, averaged 16.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1 block per game last season. He made more three-pointers last season than the last six seasons combined. Bosh would fit perfectly alongside Howard due to his ability to spread the floor. His length and wingspan would also help improve the Rockets’ defensive issues.
