Ronnie Brewer and the Houston Rockets are finalizing a contract.
The 28-year-old averaged 3 points and 2 rebounds per game in the 2012/13 season.
Brewer’s best years of his career was during his time with the Utah Jazz. During the 2008/09 NBA season, he averaged 13.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.7 seals per game for the Utah Jazz.
His hustle, energy, and defensive presence will be a solid addition to the Houston Rockets bench.
Assuming Francisco Garcia plays the guard position, Ronnie Brewer will join the Rockets as their 3rd small forward, behind Chandler Parsons and Omri Casspi. Brewer is not expected to see enormous minutes, but will definitely get a decent amount of playing time due to their lack of small forwards.
