Tayshaun Prince Ties Grizzlies Franchise Record
Tayshaun Prince, the newest member of the Memphis Grizzlies, tied the Grizzlies franchise record for most field goals made without a single miss.
Prince scored a total of 18 points, making all of his 8 field goal attempts.
Austin Daye and Ed Davis, two other players who were also acquired by Memphis in the Rudy Gay trade, put up impressive numbers against the Minnesota Timberwolves as well. Daye scored 16 points off of 6 of 9 shooting from the field. Additionally, Ed Davis made 2 of his only 3 shot attempts. In total, the three newcomers shot 16 of 20 from the field, and scored a combined 38 points.
Despite Ricky Rubio’s 17-point performance, the Grizzlies managed to defeat the Wolves 105-88.
